In may 2003 we have begun to build the shelter according with city- planning and project we had made on a 3 000,00 sqm land near the ring of Bucharest. We got all the technical recommendations and building permit required by lows. Even it is not ready built, because of lack of money, we have built a big enclosure and three small enclosures, where there are accommodated about 180 dogs. We also finished quarantine and isolator, total 16 places, where we take care of incoming dogs or sick ones or dogs post-operator according with our TNR program. We already built 225m long fence, a route disinfector at the entrance, a store, a cesspit, a well, a small building for installations and laundry, a small house for electric generator, a play area, two pens as sanctuary for Boris and Sasha. We planted many trees, bushes and flowers. The main building is an assembly of vet clinic, grooming, reception, educational center, kitchen for animals and maintenance room, guardian room, office and an atrium. In the attic will be the cattery.
For all these we need support. We are very grateful for the ones who helped us and we wish to continue together to finish and to maintain what we have started.
We hope that more people see what we are doing and what we intend to do, we hope they'll trust in us and will join our projects by helping as volunteers or offering financial support for the project they feel closer.
Because the cattery is not built yet, we have two temporary catteries, one in an attic and one in a small house. Here we have cats from old people who died, or cats with problems, which cannot be released. We also keep cats post-operator after sterilization (see TNR for cats).
